Terms of Service

LAST UPDATED · 1 OCTOBER 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and VIVTRON, the operator of Timescule. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

Timescule receives still images uploaded by your IP cameras, compiles them into video, stores that video for the backup length of your plan, and lets you review, search and export it. Features, supported cameras and limits are described on our website and in the dashboard, and may change as the service develops.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by teammates you invite, and for the roles you give them. Tell us at support@timescule.com straight away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You must be legally able to enter into a contract, and if you sign up for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms.

3. Free trial

A new organization starts with a free trial of 14 days for up to 4 cameras. No payment details are needed. When the trial ends without a paid plan, recording is paused and your existing footage is kept for a grace period of up to 15 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. We may change or end the trial offer for new signups at any time.

4. Plans, fees and payment

Paid plans are charged per camera, per month, at the prices shown on our website when your plan is activated; the backup length you choose for each camera determines its price. Prices are for motion-based recording; continuous recording is quoted separately. Tokens for optional analytics and additional exports are sold in packs.

We invoice you for your plan and for token packs, and payment is due on the terms stated on the invoice. Fees exclude applicable taxes, which are added where required. If an invoice goes unpaid, we may pause recording as described in section 3; your footage is handled in the same way. Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.

5. Recording lawfully

You decide which cameras you connect, where they point and how long footage is kept, and you are solely responsible for recording lawfully. In particular, you must:

  • have a legitimate purpose for every camera you connect;
  • display any notices the law requires where cameras operate;
  • not record places where people reasonably expect privacy, such as washrooms or changing areas, or record anyone in breach of the law;
  • handle requests from people who appear in your footage, as the law requires.

How we handle footage on your behalf is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Timescule to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload content you have no right to upload, attempt to access another customer's data, probe or disrupt our systems, or resell the service without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of this section.

7. Your content

Your footage and data remain yours. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process and display them in order to provide the service to you. We do not use your footage for any other purpose.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep Timescule available and your footage safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that every frame a camera sends will be recorded. Recording depends on your cameras, their configuration and your internet connection, which are outside our control. Timescule is not an emergency or life-safety system. Support is available at support@timescule.com.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. VIVTRON is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or for footage that was never received from your cameras. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service during that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending the service

You may stop using Timescule at any time by writing to support@timescule.com; paid periods already invoiced remain payable. We may end or suspend the service on reasonable notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. After the service ends, footage and account data are deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service.
